About MsTeechur
I am a woman who suffers from a severe case of Adult Onset Athleticism. In 2002 I was over 200 pounds and a complete couch potato. I joined Weight Watchers, then Curves, and found my inner athlete!
Since then I have participated in triathlons, 5ks, 10ks, 18ks, 30ks, and seven marathons! I love to swim, bike, but especially to run. I’ve dabbled in canoing, rock wall climbing, and hiking.

Aloha!!
Well done on your Seattle Danskin Triathlon!; And, thank you for your participation in it and your support of all the other awesome goddesses who run in it.
I am one of the drummers who stands at the bottom of “Gratitude Hill” to give all you goddesses a boost.
Drumming for the Danskin is the best drumming gig all year and I measure my year by it. It’s the highlight of my year actually and I wouldn’t miss it no matter what the weather!!! All you amazing ladies make it magical.
I will be there next year, with my Djembe, smiling and drumming.
May all our thoughts, words, and actions benefit all beings everywhere, forever.
