			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I like to use my feet and my bike for transportation, when I can. Roy and I only have one vehicle (that works&#8230;the other died recently but he wants to repair it, I want to get rid of it because we do JUST FINE with one vehicle&#8230;but that&#8217;s a story for another time). So since he&#8217;s got a gimpy leg (knee surgery) I often drop the BUV (big ugly van or butt ugly van) with him and run home. Today I did a few extra twists and turns and ins and outs so I could get in a total of five miles and get out my stress over medical bills. (I swear, I am never having surgery ever again. How come a year later I am STILL GETTING RANDOM BILLS???? And what WAS the point of paying insurance premiums since I think I&#8217;ve been nickled and dimed out of thousands of $ over the last year for my surgery. Again, a story for another time.)</p>
<p>It was a good, albeit cold run. Felt much better when I got home. Best part was, I got home to a nice crock pot of homemade chili stinking up the house&#8230;but in a good way.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sometimes I take my dogs on &#8220;dog runs.&#8221; On a dog run, the dog gets to choose our path. So today I let Wiley decide where we were going. He started with just our regular four mile loop around the neighborhood. I thought &#8220;How boring, Wiley&#8221; but as we were rounding mile three he pulled us off into the neighborhoods. It was quite nice, although he was more distractable than usual. (I think it might have been the fact that when we ran together the same path the other day and it smelled completely different without snow.) We even ran off on a little trail&#8230;but were stopped by an impromptu &#8220;river&#8221; that had popped up. I thought about jumping it, but I had my iPod, phone, and my little digital recorder&#8230;and thought better of it.
